Warm sake (a good one) is the best! If you want beer, the Belgian ones are really the ones to beat.

I think I kind of agree with you on this one. Although I have heard that some of the Japanese micro breweries are quite decent.

You are braver than me, I like to stick with what I know. Although, I do prefer liquors. Have you tried Drambuie or the Dutch jenever? Cloudberry liquor is also great, but a Finnish thing.

Correction, the American ones are the ones to beat. 😉 Before you say anything about Bud and Coors, I give you Jupiler and Maes, the Belgian equivalents.

Ah yes, the Heineken equivalents over here! I haven't tried any of the good American ones though. Any recommendations?

It depends on what you can get. Of the larger independent brewers you might be able to get Stone and Brooklyn and maybe Sierra Nevada.

Thanks, I will keep an eye out for them!
