Salted Caramel Porter (S.C.P) by Pigeon Hill Brewing Company

From the brewery that brought you O.C.P. (Oatmeal Crème Pie) beer comes this delectable beer. What starts as a traditional porter takes a turn once caramel and salt are added to this brew.

This seriously taste like a glass of salted Carmel candy. They achieve this delightful flavor by using chocolate malt which gives it flavors of chocolate that reminds you of that childhood candy.

This was one of my better recent drInking experiences. I honestly finished the whole 12 oz can in less that five mins. It was that damn good.

Not to mention, they may have one if the most adorable cans I’ve seen. Their art staff should win some kind of reward. I highly recommend checking out this beer.

I'm always cautious of highly sweet beers. This does sound enjoyable, but too much sweetness can ruin a beer sometimes. That can is quite adorable though.

The brewer is located in Muskegon, Mi. (500 W Western Ave #1, Muskegon, MI 49440) it’s a great brewery run by some awesome people. I recommend checking out OCP too.

Not always huge on really sweet beers either, but I am a sucker for salted caramel. I've had one salted caramel beer before, I can't remember who did it, but it was pretty decent if I recall correctly.
