You might remember my post last week about near and far bar, which along with being a great place to drink also has a big fridge full of takeaway beers, and this is where this week's Canadian beer.
I run a very sophisticated selection method, to understand why we choose this beer you need to understand that I was in the process of finish up a job and my boss had the nickname of Woo, and I was sad to be leaving, him not the job, so Boo Woo seemed apt.
The fact that it was a sour and that it had sophiscated art deco sytle graphics worked for me.
So that how we ended up on the balcony in the evening sun drinking this beer, so let's get on with it....
This is the tartest thing since Dolly Parton in Best little whorehouse in texas. It's the type of beer that makes you go whoa on the first sip, but does it have anything more than that?
It does settle but its still pretty darn tart, there is meant to mango and green tea, but the mango is subtle in the aftertaste after the smack in the face of tartness, I don't get green tea, but I never thought green tea was a strong flavour anyway.
With even more drinking the aftertaste becomes sweeter and sweeter.
All in all a pretty darn good beer, not one for those who don't like sours but if you do well worth seeking out.
And as always this review is part of the best beer writing competition on Steemit - all run by @Detlev. checvk it out here:
