So myself and @steevc set out from the INX Design Hotel with good intentions of quickly finding @detlev and his Beer weekend.
I somehow thought that Mr Beer was talking about his beer for some reason, but that was not the case at all as this was a good old fashioned pub crawl.
After getting lost due the the SF3 application giving us completely bum information on the location we had experienced an unintended walk around the city.
It seems if you are male then you are a target for the, ‘this way for titty bars’ promoters. We had a couple wanting us to frequent their venue.
15 minutes of using google maps brought us to the Alchemia bar. I didn’t stick around too long as I’m a very poor drinker and was a bit knackered after the Auschwitz trip earlier.
Plenty were there including @grampo who had also been mislead by the dodgy map, @hashcash who didn’t seem to be drinking but eating, @karinxxl who I met earlier and @revisesociology who was not drinking so much too.
There were so many others there who I still have not connected with yet. There’s always tomorrow and the final dinner for those not leaving until the end.

I'm sure the unintended walk around the city was very refreshing, must be some fantastic scenery to view even on an evening......and some interesting places to visit!
You have been busy with networking, it must have been amazing to meet up with so many people in person that you have interacted with virtually on the Steem blockchain.

At least you didn't end up in the middle of the river somewhere. Those maps can be tricky things at times. I miss the old days of not having to rely on technology to get you places. I still think it is handy, but give me a good old paper map anyday! Glad you made it there okay. Kind of sounds like the Vegas atmosphere with all the promoters on the street.

Hey @slobberchops
we went to the Hevre bar and occupied more or less the first level of this place.
Many of us stayed until 2 - means closing time - and walked to the marked in front of the Alchemia to have such a little sandwich another kind of food.
Than people enter again the Alchemia. There where around 30 people around as I was leaving short after 3.

The one beer I had was great, and so was the street food. Next time I need to arrange things so I can stay longer. The final dinner should be awesome. Hope to see you soon
