Hi Steemers AGAIN. Haven't seen you. And I continue to talk about beekeeping! Many people wonder what will make life easier for bees. I decided to release second part of "the Secrets of beekeeping".
Bee-entrance - continuous area
When I started beekeeping, I tried different types of hives and different types of bee-entrance. And stopped on this variant. I want to share with you.
The upper bee-entrance the bees are only needed for hibernation. I specifically leave it to exit 2-3 bees. So it is open all year round. Summer bee top bee-entrance is not in use. First the nectar of bees piled around the nest. No matter how many hulls, the bees always have an open bottom bee-entrance. The bee-entrance is able to emerge as a consequence of need. For example: to avoid being covered with snow.
Ventilation of the hive.
Ventilation of the hive passes through the lid of the hive. Cover hive weighs little. Many beekeepers drill the holes in the lid. Also flat caps are used as supports for the bee stores.
