Is the future of society in the blockchain?

in beginner •  8 years ago  (edited)

Hello there! This is my first post here. I'm quite excited!

This will be just a short post, to get things started. More will follow soon.

With more and more services becoming embedded in the blockchain, the question is: are we moving towards a society based in the blockchain? A kind of anarchic (as in anarchism, not as in chaos), post-realistic society? Or is this technological new frontier just a new development of capitalism, emanating from it's ubiquitous process of commoditization of every single aspect of our society? Maybe it is just - and certainly less dramatic - an expansion of the possibilities among we social agents are entitled to move as we live our lives.

In any case, I will come back to this in a more elaborate post. As said, this is the beginning of my journey into the social networks. I hope my impact on the social universe's entropy will be more than compensated by the expansion in the humus of your souls.
