Being a woman

What does it mean being a woman? It is the most easiest and most complicated question you can ask anyone, especially a woman. Sometimes people say women don't know what they want. How true is this question? Hmm, I am still thinking of the right answer to this.

We women are the most unique and complicated beings ever created by God. Don't try to understand us, just start by appreciating us. We can smile at you and in our hearts we can be saying," Goodness I wish this guy will just disappear". We can be angry or mad at you, but its only because we care.

To tell you the truth I am still trying to figure out myself in this journey called life. I know I am made for a purpose, I know I am not just created to be a daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher or friend. I know there is a higher purpose for which I am here. Still trying to figure it out in this journey called life.

My late dad (may his blessed soul rest in peace) was fun of saying that I am really complicated and he really enjoys the conversations we have. Its like to him I was unpredictable. Well, all I can say is that in growing up and mixing with different people from diverse cultures, it has helped to shape me to be who I am today. I love hanging with my girlfriends to catch up on old gist and also just be a little girl again and do silly things like play "tenten".

As a woman I have learnt and am still learning to watch and observe more before speaking. To listen more and sometimes when you are just silent, it is golden.I have learnt that I am stronger than I give myself credit for and also all I want is just to sometimes be left alone to enjoy a warm cup of... coffee.
