As of Thursday November 16, 2017, elephant remains that are hunted legally in Zimbabwe and Zambia are now allowed to be imported into the US.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has overturned a policy put in place in 2014 banning the importation of Elephant trophies into America.

U.S. talk show host Ellen Degenerous has launched a campaign to raise awareness of this issue. #BeKindToElephants.
