5 Reasons to Not Use Company Name

It Causes Pushback:
When you have your work at home business on your profile it causes resistance. Automatically people will think that you are going to pitch them on whatever you are selling. They will automatically put up a wall.

Won’t Help You Stand Out:
A lot of people put their company’s name all over their wall, so what would make you stand out from the rest? You got to ask yourself why would anyone join you over the rest? What makes you any different than the rest?

Brand yourself, realize that YOU are your business, not the company. (Branding yourself is a whole different blog/video/email)

Lead with value, which will include content that will solve a ‘pain’ of your target market.

Remember people join people they don’t join you for the company

Look It Up on Google or YouTube:
Let’s face it when someone wants information on anything, they look it up on Google or YouTube. They want information about it. There is always someone going to say something negative about your company and you would never know it.

Join Someone Else:
When people research the company, they will find positive things about it, but they find things out about leaders in the company and they join them instead of you. They are looking for a leader that can get them to where they want to be.

Lose All Curiosity:
if you put your company name on social media you have given away the ending. Just like movie trailers don’t show you the whole movie they just get you curious about it. Think of having your profile like that. You want to get people wondering what you are doing and get them to reach out to you.
