Bible believer: choosing rather to suffer affliction with people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin

Jesus came to show us a way: "I am the way, the truth, and the life", John 14:6. And to know this path we need the theological virtue of faith: "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.", Hebrews 11:1-3.
And this walk is a difficult and arduous path, Jesus gave his life as an example of faith and perseverance: "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.", Luke 22:42.
The teaching of the Kingdom of God is based on a very simple statement, we have to choose between two masters, if we serve God we are on the path of righteousness, the good; on the other hand, if we serve money, we enter the path of sin and error: "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.", Matthew 6:24.
And these two paths have two rewards: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord", Romans 6:23.
The apostle Paul gives us as an example of faith a multitude of witnesses from the patriarch Abraham to the legislator Moses, and about Moses he teaches us: "By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh´s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.", Hebrews 11:24-26.

And all these testimonies that Paul lists for us serve to strengthen faith and reject the false path: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.", Hebrews 12:1.
For the believer, the path of faith, despite being arduous, has a reward, the perfection of eternal life, the knowledge of God.
