Beng Mealea, its name means “lotus pond”, one of the Hindu temples, built during Angkor Era, located 60km away from Siem Reap town (1 hour and half drive). The primary material is sandstone and it is largely unrestored, with trees, overgrowth and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps.
