This isnt the first case in the uk where parents rights have been denied to seek alternative treatment and care for their child. Even though alfies battle has been going on for nearly 2 years... an sadly now came to a end.. RIP ALFIE, their was another child who's parents had to endure the same legal battle with the same outcome as alfies. he was called charlie gard. Sadly charlie lost his battle after a high court ruled his life support should be pulled in 2017, 1 week before his first birthday. He was been treated at great ormand street hospital in london. If you research into the 2 cases they are too similar, the only difference is that charlies condition was diagnosed while alfies wasn't. like alfie, chrlie was granted citizenship in another country. in Charlies case it was the US not italy, A certain doctor had very good results in the treatment of the condition, even though the doctor came to uk and spoke to the doctors they still pursued the legal channel of ending charlies life. How can any court decide against the wishes of the parents. in the case of alfie, even after he was showing signs of improvement, responding and smiling to his parents the judge still found in favour of the hospital. They refused him water for six hours and stood and watched as his farther had to perform cpr after his lips turned blue. What the fuck type of system are we living in when a childs humans rights are betrayed in such a nihilistic way. The doctors stated there was no cure or no hope for alfie but yet this little angel defied all the odds and sustained life 4 3-4 days, unaided. My question to the doctors of alder hey is if he wasn't in any pain and started showing signs of improvement after the sedation had ended then what right do they have to stop his parents seeking alternate treatment. After all the court battles Alfies parents had one last appeal. It took me 15 minutes to read the appeal in it's entirety after i found it on line but the courts received this appeal a 18:48 on the 24th of april and rejected it at 18:52..... it took them 4 minutes to to read it all an make a decision. This cannot happen again, children's and parent's human rights are been ignored and it needs to stop now.

It's so sad what happened to that baby. I'm glad I don't live in the UK. I'd go crazy on anyone who wouldn't let me help my baby in any way possible. I do understand that socialized medicine decides who lives and who dies based on best outcomes and financial responsibility, but if that baby had any chance, I would have tried to find a way to give it to him.

I reckon Italy has a cause of action, because one of their citizens was murdered by the doctors of Alder Hey Hospital.
I deeply appreciate the additional information you provided @benswann that the hospital was selling organs to pharmaceutical companies.
That establishes motive.
This was murder.
Thanks!

This isnt the principal case in the uk where guardians rights have been denied to look for elective treatment and administer to their youngster. Despite the fact that alfies fight has been continuing for almost 2 years... an unfortunately now arrived at an end.. Tear ALFIE, their was another youngster who's folks needed to bear an indistinguishable fight in court with a similar result from alfies. he was called charlie gard. Unfortunately charlie lost his fight after a high court administered his life support ought to be pulled in 2017, 1 week before his first birthday celebration. He was been dealt with at extraordinary ormand road healing facility in london. In the event that you inquire about into the 2 cases they are excessively comparative, the main distinction is that charlies condition was analyzed while alfies wasn't. like alfie, chrlie was conceded citizenship in another nation. in Charlies case it was the US not italy, A specific specialist had great outcomes in the treatment of the condition, despite the fact that the specialist came to uk and addressed the specialists they still sought after the lawful channel of consummation charlies life. In what manner can any court rule against the desires of the guardians. on account of alfie, even after he was hinting at change, reacting and grinning to his folks the judge still found for the healing center. They denied him water for six hours and stood and looked as his more distant needed to do mouth to mouth after his lips turned blue. What the hell kind of framework are we living in when a childs people rights are deceived in such a skeptical way. The specialists expressed there was no cure or no desire for alfie however yet this little holy messenger resisted all the chances and supported life 4 3-4 days, unaided. My inquiry to the specialists of birch hello is whether he wasn't in any torment and began hinting at change after the sedation had finished then what right do they need to stop his folks looking for exchange treatment. After all the court fights Alfies guardians had one final interest. It took me 15 minutes to peruse the interest completely after I discovered it on line however the courts got this interest a 18:48 on the 24th of april and rejected it at 18:52..... it took them 4 minutes to peruse everything a settle on a choice. This can't occur once more, youngsters' and parent's human rights are been overlooked and it needs to stop now.
