Reality Check: Internet Purge of Dissenting Voices?

It's funny. You propose legislation, which can only restrict rights, never grant or create them, in the pursuit of freedom.

Have you thought about that much?

How would you feel if you made a website, spending your own money on it and toiling to make it a reality for whatever purpose you had in mind, and after it was up and running, a bunch of trolls came on and started posting videos advocating burning puppies to death.

Would you want to censor them? Should you have the right to? It's your website, that you paid for and made yourself.

Careful what you call 'censorship', and 'freedom'.

We can just not use those websites that censor our voices. No legislation necessary.

You only need legislation when you're trying to make other people do what you want them to with their stuff. You can do what you want without legislation making others comply with your will.
