The words we say effect the way we think because we think in words.
Think of it like this. We call it spelling to put letters together to make words. These words are like casting spells because they bring meaning into existence.
You can put thoughts and ideas into another person's head that they have never thought of with your words. Words are like thought programs for your brain.
There is real magic in words. Words can make people cry, make people laugh and even make people fight or kill.
The words we use in our daily lives not only program others but even more so we program ourselves. So be careful the words you use.
Instead of I should "I shall", instead of I could "I can", instead of I would "I will". And remember as Yoda said, "either do or do not, there is no try."
