When everything in the US is geared towards generating maximum corporate profits at the expense of the domestic and worldwide humanity, we’re already operating under a system of corporate fascism.
It would be too easy to limit the abuses of what is fake “capitalism” combined with fake “democracy” and fake “free speech” - simply by limiting the amount of wealth and resources any one person or agenda driven group can control.
The entire West is filled with opportunistic moral and intellectual cowards that, over the last century, have taken the path of least resistance to personal wealth and power by keeping their mouths shut, and thereby further enabling and serving the criminally corrupt terroristic and totalitarian powers in place.
I think the bigger issue today is that the FIAT monetary systems allow Money (ie banks creating equal qtys of debt and credit) to be created by banks from nothing, and then treated as a proxy for real material wealth and things of real potential value (human knowledge and work, diversity of life, fertile land, homes, factories etc). Money once was merely a means for exchanging value. Until we return money to having only that purpose, we fill our motivations chasing an ammoral token as an illusion for wealth (literally longing for mere symbols of our financial language) instead of acting with a Good Will for creating and maintaining real wealth. The tail of money is wagging the head of Good Will and its products of real wealth; and it is very sad to see.
