Thanks Daniel. He who seeks find...and I am lucky to know antique dealers and cabinetmakers who sometimes have interesting lots. As for the nature of the metal I only work with cuprous metals and they are generally compatible. Just have the good solder and know how to use it. The adjustment of the gas mixture is very important and must change according to the alloy.
