Well done! But you're blowing up my budget. You're making me want to visit the US Oregon coastline, near Florence. Just a 5 day drive. No. I won't fly. For one, I would miss 1000's of breath-taking views. I'm sure you understand. :-)

Just Awesome, Awesome photography!

Good point is that you "want"... Other thing, I guess you can easily find some closer river or lake or whatever... Normally is no need to take 5 day drive to reach interesting place :)

Hmmm actually, I once lived on a lake at a point that was 2 miles or more to the other side. You are right about lakes providing good sunsets. But gulfs and sea shores are unique. Currently I live in the mountains with not even a reflecting pond. (No ponds is a bitter note provided by the overbearing EPA-government agency.)

Anyway, I'm sure there is other water closer but I want the long drive to the other side of my country. And this photo reminds me.

Damn, I'm dreaming to go and shoot in mountains :D But had no chance so far...

LoL my mountains are the short rounded ones. And they're charming. I'll bet you have the tall sharp kind. I would have to drive through the Rocky Mountains, probably slip through Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Teton Mountains, to get to the sea shore. And... Before those, cross the Mississippi River and some prairie and then after the Rockies comes some desert!

So now you know why I would, have to drag my husband along, and have to drive it ... Very very slowly with a huge budget.
