Development Update
BeScouted is premier photography community on Steem blockchain where members get rewards for sharing their images just like making posts on Steemit.
Image discovery needs a different display options as they are the main object of the post and we have bootstrapped a website that does just that. Any post you make will also be cross posted on Steemit.com so you get double exposure for your work as it will be visible on both platforms and comments will be shared too just like busy.org for example.
After launching photo upload a three weeks ago we have added comments from Steemit, improved major post launch bugs and made different UI/UX improvements:
- After receiving some feedback from steemit users we have removed upper limit in sign up form so now you can also login with you password as well as a private posting key.
- You can now copy paste tags from your steemit posts.
- Pending Payout is now showing up in a more orderly way.
- Guest Users can now see Pending Payout values.
- Profile type "Other" can no longer upload photos as it was intended from the very beginning. Users with the profile type "Other" can still comment on the images and receive curation rewards and rewards for the comments.
- Increased the size of right photo upload tab in order to make writing description and comments easier.
We have also added commenting functionality:
- Added shared comments from Steem blockchain for accounts that are connected with steemit.
- Comments can be upvoted.
- You can see the full list of people who have upvoted your photo.
- Title and description are now correctly displayed above the comments.
Number of other smaller bug fixes and performance improvements.

Hi Dave, since you are quite new here you will not have much to delegate, so it's just better for you to save it up by posting your amazing content on BeScouted
You can always buy Steem on any of the currency exchanges like Bittrex.com and increase your Steem Power through a process called Powering Up if it is something you would want to do at some point.
The best shot for you would be to keep sharing your content on BeScouted as those popularity points you are receiving when you image gets promoted/upvoted there will be converted to BeScouted SMT at some ratio at some point in the future.
Since you have nearly 1 thousand popularity points on BeScouted for being a valuable community member and contributor for a while, this will make for a quite substantial amount of BS SMT when we do one. So keep posting.

I'm still discovering how to work with Bescouted, for instance, I don't know how to go to other profiles (on my laptop, not the mobile) and promote their photos as well. Or knowing who follows me other than seeing in the notifications. But I'm loving it! Thanks!

You just go to member section where you can browse different categoties by country, city and other criteria.
Or you can browse popular and recent feeds to discover new content. If you are folloring them you will see their work in following feed too.
We have been thinking about the following part for a while. We do not want instagram game happening on the platform where people just follow everybody then go to a following list and unfollow everybody again. It sucksand people are really doing this.
But if you do not like the content somebody is posting you just open their profile and unfollow from there.
