Since the last two weeks were intense,i have decided i need a short break ant to take some rest from the computer screen. What's the use of moving office into Tenerife if i can not enjoy some local trips after all, right?
The town that i am currently staying at is Los Gigantes, very beaufull town with amazing scenery and a very quiet one too. Which is good for work as i do not have too many temptations provided the view from my terrace is amazing.
So i have decided to take a drive to a bigger and more lively town of Los Cristianos which is abou 20 miles from here and takes about 30 minutes of driving. Naturally i took my camera to share some photos with you after i get back.

Dominated by older people too.
To be honest i did not do too much research about the island before leaving, as i wanted to get away that bad. Since i have arrived to Los Gigantes i have noticed that absolute majority of the tourists are older people and seniors, but my thinking was it's because Los Gigantes is such a calm place. I was expecting to see more youth in Los Christianos but to my surprise picture remained more or less the same. Very few young people and the majority of seniors who are chiling in the sun, taking short walks, but most of the time sitting.
There is a nice walk all along the beach where most of the action is taking place.
I was bold enough to say "action is taking place" since the most popular action is sitting :)
Ofc there will always be a smarter guy that doesn't waste energy for sitting and risking to fall when fallen asleep. He found himself an idylic palm shade to take a nap. What a champ!!! But dude, you took my spot...
It is a real pleasure to see people having good time and unarguably well deserved rest, but i am still wondering... Where the younger part of the population is?
David
This is very useful for me to continue the journey, maybe I can do the steps that have been seen with a very beautiful photo
