Hey fellow photographers! The recent uploads have been my results from a roll of film when I was driving home from Toronto to Montreal, and I was chasing the setting sun to get some magic lighting in a rural area I was in. If you shoot film I don't have to explain this but for those who don't, when you chase something and capture it on film, the feeling is magical. Hahaha ok maybe you can have the same feeling in the moment with any camera but when you can't see the result right away, you get to keep that feeling a little longer.
The light was absolutely gorgeous. It was warm, cold, pink, purple, blue, everything in between really. It bounces off of the walls, sky fills the shadows, the windows reflect in different hues and render the world in a whole new way. It's also a rush to chase down the light, see the environment around you, and see those frames around you. Observe the light change in front of you. I recommend you try it, go for a walk before sunset, see the world a little differently.
Shooting on film certainly is different as it keeps the secret up to the very end witch is only reveled when developing the film, and even then to completely see the results you need to do magic in a dark room. I am sure that at some point i will get back there and equip myself with analogue photography equipment. While both systems have certain advantages and disadvantages to each other i love them both.

I have a 5D, a wonderful digital camera. Use it for work, but when I'm out there shooting for pleasure I'm all film (and maybe smartphone, experimenting). I noticeably change the pace, the engagement, the way I see when I'm using film. Of course it's not better or worse. Digital is superior in quality now, but I'm in it for the experience.
