Whoa. I feel this one, deep down. What a great title for this image. It’s a macro/close up/partial of a larger work?
Although I think it’s part of a bull skull, It also resembles and feels like the deep interior bones of the human pelvis. Really well done my friend.

Although it is part of a bigger picture, I think it could well stand alone too. It is the sort of scary dark place I see deep down in the abyss of my inner self too. In fact, also the theme of the next Tarot card I've been wanting to post for a couple of weeks..
The main "figure" is indeed a scull. I think its supposed to be a goat/ram, but I distorted it and so it could also be seen as a different animal. It does have that pelvis like feeling, now that you mention it! You understand my work better than I do myself!

Yes, your image feels related to the dark shadow place deep inside that we fear to look at within ourselves. Pelvis area, Chakra 1 in yoga land, is this area. But the only way to TRUE happiness is to look at and embrace all of ourself. Accepting our dark and our light, wholeness.

There is a bit of Durer in this. I love it. Did you do this as a b/w sketch or change one colored to black and white. Either way, wonderful result, as usual.
