Walking the boardwalk in the early morning light

My ideal way to start the day

Taken recently on an early morning walk along the Board Walk by Silver Sands State Park here in Milford CT, when I first started walking this day it was about 45 minutes before the sunrise and I pretty much had the Boardwalk to myself, it was so peaceful and quiet.

A little while later a few walkers runners and people walking there dogs came along but was still nice and quiet.

A perfect start to the day for me

Thanks,
this one I did with a few bit sof Software, it was a three shot HDR so I merged them in Photomatix, cropped and a little fine tuning in LightRoom, and a little sharpening and other small tweaks in photoshop :)

It is so beautiful that it almost doesn't look real. If I had a view like you do while walking on the board walk, I would do it every single day.

I do it whenever I can mainly on weekend I catch an early train weekday

Amazingly beautiful picture and post. Loved reading it. Walking is a great exercise and one should strive to do so every single day. It rejuvenates one's self espacially when its such a beautiful walk. Upvoted and following u.

It was nice and refreshing but not a sign of the sun at all, but went for a good walk did just under 4 miles but no photos

It is an amazing to have such a location just for yourself. Must have felt spiritual. I am thankful that you took this shot for us as it is probably a rare opportunity to see it so desolate. And yes indeed there was something special that morning but I always love walking here early morning today it is supposedly very cloudy ( to Dark yet to see) but heading there for a walk anyways
