How to handle my girlfriend. #One

Soo.. The date is second. The second of June. I had just broken up with my girlfriend. We had dated for six months until she could no longer survive the long distance. The most devastating feeling ever. So I took my phone and complained to my cousin.She has always tolerated my stupidity and would even let me eat the last slice of bread. She gives me this number, right, and tells me good luck. She didn't even explain what it was for. She just said, "cure your depression with this ".. I thought to myself, " dates that start of like this don't last long, " but I just had to try. So I texted her some stupid shit like "I suppose you know who this is." I had hoped my cousin would tell her. Lucky for me, she had. I texted her for sometime, being sweet and all to gain her trust. Of course I had to be weird to make this feel different. We then agreed on a date. We would meet and settle this. She was like, yeah, whatever. It felt bad because I was the one psyched up. The meeting date was on 14. Then something happened. Her parents are travelers, always on the move from town to town. I was devastated. She called me and told me this. At first I thought it was a way to get rid of me. I was like "am even used to this. Let her go. You'll be fine on your own, you always have."
