Rankie VGA to VGA Cable, 6 Feet

Not much to say about an old-school VGA cable other than "it works" and the quality is fine. But, just in case this helps someone: I'm using this on an old Dell Optiplex 9020 tower (c. 2014?). In attempts to not have more cables laying around, I had initially purchased a VGA to DVI converter -- and got no video. (VGA out of motherboard, converted to DVI, DVI cable to monitor's DVI input). This cable worked out of the box with no fuss.
I bought this cable to hook up an old flat-screen monitor to an Apple G4 tower. The cable was sold as used, so I got it at a great price. It looks in perfect condition, and it worked perfectly straight out of the box. The only problem is that the cable is actually 5 feet long, not 6 feet. Since I didn't really need the extra foot, and given that I was happy with the product otherwise, I decided to keep it.
The vga to vga cable I ordered was exactly what I needed to connect an old desktop PC with my monitor. It plugged in perfectly and the picture came right up.

I have a security camera system, and I needed to locate the monitor quite a distance from the main console & recorder. This was just the ticket to locate the monitor on my desk so I could keep an eye on things while still working. This flat cable is very easy to place behind furniture and is quite durable.
I brought this because I needed a long VGA cable for an event I am doing, when this product arrived, the primary language on the box was Chinese. So you know that it is Chinese made right there. I then decided I better test it out, when I tested it out, one of the screws for the VGA cable was not made correctly so it would not screw into a connector. I had a replacement screw from a different cable, but the quality it not very good, but it works good.
good product

Love the flat cable. It is easy to install and fits close to the wall. The only negative is that it's blue - I could not find a black flat cable.
Poor signal strength and sometime a blurry picture. ( Changed out for another brand and image cleared up)
Works great, good quality, really happy with it! Needed it for work and it's been great 👍

This is the only Display-port cable to not fail while using my 1080p/240hz Monitor after a week. This item has lasted me more then 5 months and still zero complaints so far.
Had another DP cable that's "4k 60fps gaming ready" blah blah that works 99% of the time....but every once in a while will disconnect for a split second to my Acer X34. It goes blank for only a split second then reconnects, but it bothered me to no end. THIS cable works like a charm, fps as much as my monitor and gpu allows. The Acer x34 also has a silly issue where the DP connection point is tight - I tried cables with larger/longer connectors that simply won't fit because the cable connector is too fat/long. I swear by monoprice but I will in future add Startech to the list the next time I need cables to anything.
If you want to run 1440p in HDR, you must have a VESA Certified DP 1.4 cable.4 stars due to the price and lack of availability of a 6ft (2M) cable.I have a Samsung 27chg70 whose display in Windows 10 with HDR was horrendous. The monitor is powered by an Nvidia 1080 TI and the Nvidia control panel refused to commit 10bpc color at any refresh rate (thanks to the previous display port cable). In RGB mode, my text looked like 3-D without the glasses (red, black, blue all offset from each other). This cable fixed all my visual issues with the monitor and allows my monitor to properly display SDR & HDR content in 1440p @ 120 hz. You would have thought Samsung would have shipped it with an adequate cable....Despite the cost, get this cable, saving $5-10 isn't worth the aggravation of less than optimal display quality.

Should have been a little cheaper had some issues with connecting laptop to hdtv had to jiggle the cable around until it was right now it works fine
Just as expected - works fine
Cable is great but I under estimated the length that I needed. I should have gotten the 20 footer. Measure twice, order once.

It work fine
I just got this today and tried it out. I am using this on a 28" LG TV. At first, the screen was noticeably blurry compared to the old 6 ft. VGA cable I was using and I was disappointed. I did a quick Google search and then "auto adjusted" my TV and BAM!!! This thing is perfectly clear now. So, don't get down and depressed if at first this gives a blurry image. Try adjusting your display and that might work. Also, this thing is thick and beefy. The ferrites are also large and it just says quality all over it. Even the plugs are nice and big. I love this thing!!
Bon produit

Cable Matters VGA to VGA Cable with Ferrites (SVGA Cable) 10 Feet

I am using this cable, 6ft in length, to connect my computer to a digital TV. The cable appears to be of the highest quality. The connectors are gold plated, as the description says, and well made. I truly don't understand the negative comments. I have purchased other types of Cable Matters cables in the past and have never been disappointed.
Well, it works but I'm a bit disappointed in the build quality. The cable itself seems fine as far as I can tell but the plastic parts on the thumbscrews on one end of my cable are off-center, causing them to rub on the rubber part of the plug when you go to screw them in. This results in having to use undue force in turning the screws. Basically, it feels tight before it is. And they're not just a little off-center. They're WAY off. I ended up having to modify the plug by trimming off some of the rubber from the plug so the rubbing wasn't so bad (but was still present). This was a bit unnerving but I'm not going to send a 12 dollar cable back through the mail if I can make it work. As far as the quality of the signal? Well, the cable is 25 feet long and I have never used one this long before. The signal is a little soft compared to the much shorter cable I had before (I needed the extra length) but that might be normal for such a long cable. I can't blame it on the cable not having another cable of this length to compare it to. Just....I don't know. How hard is it to make a functional VGA connector in 2018? I'm gonna keep this cable but I wouldn't buy this brand again. The VGA cable I was using came with a monitor I bought in probably the late 90s or something and the plugs on that cable are perfect. So I can't even really say "for the price". My other cable was free. Well, if I have to buy another one, I'll have to try a different brand. Not impressed with this. Also disappointed with all the positive reviews this product has on Amazon. I did not order this without reading reviews (as I never do). I did see some negative reviews but the vast majority were very positive. In the past I have ordered items from Amazon where there were some very bad reviews and the product turned out to be fine. In this case, I advise anyone considering this cable to read the negative reviews. You MIGHT get lucky and get one that doesn't have the screw heads off-center. I mean, after all, it was only on one end. The other end seemed fine. But then, after reading other negative reviews, I have a feeling this manufacturer just has spotty quality control and if it isn't one thing, it might be something else. I don't like rolling the dice when I buy something. Many of the positive reviews commented that this cable is "very high quality". I would not say that. Even if the screws were not off, the whole plug just looks a bit cheap. It would be fine for the price if it didn't have that issue though. This is not a high quality cable. You get what you pay for, I guess. I don't like leaving negative reviews and I have rarely ever had an issue like this with anything I bought from Amazon but I hope it helps someone.
Came with bent pins which was difficult to realign. Almost gave up and was going to return the item but my son-in-law, a computer tech was able to repair the pin array and use the cable after all. It appears to be of good quality and I would recommend it as I am sure this is not a common occurance.
