Laziness is the biggest enemy of man

There was a majestic teacher who loved all his disciples very much. Knowing about every qualities and shortcomings of his disciples, he used to prepare them for the future. His only goal was that every one of his disciples should move forward with courage at every stage of life.

Among all his disciples, there was one disciple who was very innocent. He was very soft and simple in nature but he was very lazy. Due to laziness, he did not feel like getting anything. He was interested in the fruits that he gets without doing any work. This demerit of his was troubling the Guru a lot. He was thinking about his same disciple day and night.

One day he narrated the story of the Paras stone to all his disciples. The most curious to know about this stone was the same disciple. Seeing this, the Guru understood his intention. They understood that she is lazy that's why she craves for this magic stone. But this fool does not know that the person who is actionless. Even God himself cannot help him and he is just an ordinary stone. Thinking this, the Guru thought that this is the right time to make this disciple aware of the demerits of laziness. Thinking like this, Guru ji called that disciple to his hut.

After a few moments, the disciple entered inside the hut and bowed his head to the Guru. Guru blessed and said - Son! Today I have told the story of the Paras stone, that stone is with me and you are my dear disciple, so I want to give that stone to you from sunrise to sunset. You can do whatever you want with it. You must win gold you can make from this stone in this given time. The disciple's happiness knew no bounds after hearing this. Guru ji asked him to give the stone at sunrise in the morning. He kept thinking about this stone throughout the night.
