See it in action. Works with Steemit Posts. Read 250-500 words a minute. Instantly, no practice needed. Works with Chrome Browser on phones, tablets, and PC.
The video shows the app reading at the slowest speed setting, 250 words per minute. The human average for reading English text is 220 words per minute. This is a good place to start. With a little practice, you can work your way up to 300, 400, 500 words and beyond. The limit is 1000. Personally, I'm not there yet but if you are already an avid reader this might be attainable for you.
Easy setup. Works with Chrome Browser on phones, tablets, and PC.
Step 1: Install the extension Download here
Step 2: Highlight the text you would like to read
Step 3: Right Click on the text and choose "sprint read selected text" from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Choose your settings.
Step 5: Click the play button.
Voila!
Congratulations, your future reading will never be the same.
If you would like to convert epub books you can do so here.

epub books do not work with this app, but pdf files are not a problem. Just highlight the text and read away.
I am a tad ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). In other words, I get "squirreled" easily. I find that using this reader really helps me to maintain focus. It used to take me a week to read a book because my mind was always wandering. Now I read minimum 3 books a week, as well as countless articles and...steemit posts!
The more material you are consuming, the more your brain gets filled with thought, and the more thoughts you have the more you think, the more you think the more ideas you have, and the more ideas you have, the more creative you become, and the more creative you become, the more you need an outlet for that creativity. This is when the magic happens.
Information = Knowledge = Thought = Thinking = Ideas = Creativity = Expression
How might you choose to express yourself? Perhaps writing is your passion? Well, I know a place people are earning lots of money just writing whatever they want. Whatever is on their mind at any given time.
Tip 1: When dealing with complicated text with a lot of statistics you may want to set the speed down to a lower level. If you are reading "The Shopaholic" series by Sophie Kinsella (my favorite fluff series of all time) then increase your word per minute levels, you may surprise yourself at the reading level you might be able to achieve without losing comprehension.
Tip 2: Try to read beyond your ability level for a few pages then repeat the pages scaling back in half increments. I find if I am comfortable reading at 500 words per minute then I up my speed to 600, if I feel I am not able to keep up, I scale back to 550 and find I am at a comfortable readind speed.
Tip 3: Read one short book really really fast, twice. You impress yourself on the second round how much you actually retained. Now read it a normal speed. Your newly acquired info is now firmly planted in your brain. This is a really nice studying tool.
Tip 4: Proofread your own material through the app. It saves time and is a good way to go through your writing word by word.
Tip 5: Tell me I'm awesome. Not that will help your reading ability or anything but at least I will know I've held your attention thus far.
