Mini contest: comments Waves #117

in betterworld •  3 years ago

Peace,

I am glad that you could once again Steemians and members of diverse communities join this dialogue.

The mini contest held daily is fun and surely will initiate great conversation among us on the platform.

Here are all rules about the Waves of comments:

  • This day's initial topic of discussion is defined as follows:
"What do you do to make the world a better place?". It is not mandatory to give an answer related to this topic, so your comments can be random.

  • Place in the comments section your opinion as a sentence with at least 20 words.

  • Add a number considered to be the correct addition of your valid entry to your comment to validate your current entry.

  • Patience for at least 2 valid comments from different authors before adding your next comment below the main post.

  • There is No limit to comments, but the deadline is 24 hours after the contest launches. All valid entries will be counted as they appeared below the main post.

*Example:

A1:My comment is so genuine that I may be upvoted in the course of this contest. c1.*
A2:Steemit has helped me find the love of my life here in the local town of AYWES. c1
A3:The coming holidays help be exceptionally disturbed with all the flight cancellations and passengers not allowed to travel due to the ban. c1
A1:I will go visit my grandmother whether it rains or snow. I will find my way to visit relatives even though restrictions are still in action. c2
A4: at least twenty words... c1
A2: at least twenty words... c2
A1: at least twenty words... c3
A3: at least twenty words... c2

Selection of the Winners and Prizes

Moderator will intervene to resolve comment counting issues. You should edit your entry within the contest duration if you have done something wrong. We can help each other to keep the count in order. Thanks

Authors will be classified considering the number of valid entries decreases from the highest to the lowest numbers obtained at the deadline.

The winner will obtain 0.5 STEEM from @ybf in their wallet. The payout for the contest post will determine in the future how higher the prizes can go to all the winners.

In case of similarity in the total of points, the winner will be the first to comment under the main post.

Surprises are available to all the participants.

Steemians' comments are greatly appreciated as the contest's rewards in the coming edition will increase as the interest for interaction among the members keeps growing.

Warm regards

Sort Order:

Greetings!
I consider I don't so as much as I wanted to make a better world. I try to plant, take care of my plants, take care of the animals, and never throw garbage on the streets. What I do at home is to try to keep it clean, but I'm not sure if that helps the world; at least animals and plants belong to the world. I don't know if this makes sense, but that's how I feel. C1

It is a harmonious way to live without destroying our environment. I am sure it helps better the world.

Thanks! :)

No es necesario colocar "A" al principio.
Sin embargo, es necesario colocar "C" + el número de la entrada actual al final.

Thank you

From inside my home I collect these materials to place into a bin to be collected for recycling:
•used cardboard (if it is clean - for example if it doesn’t have food or liquid residue on it)
•hard plastic (once it’s clean otherwise I rinse or wash it)
•aluminium (once it’s as clean as practically possible without scrubbing as I hope the sorting machine can easily separate it with magnets - ideally it should probably be completely cleaned to prevent food residue getting into the recycler but I believe that to fully clean it would be very time consuming because of the many little indentations some cans have & also because handling an unclean sharp metallic item is risky especially considering it could have had meat, rusty areas or stale liquids inside). Often I will soak tins with spare soapy water but if left like this too long they become rusty and can rust the sink leaving marks on it

I am pleased that my country has these recycling facilities available so I can feel I am helping the planet by reducing potential waste and I also hope that by recycling it will cause the prices of commodities sold packaged in those materials to not become expensive in the future

Other than this I try to be friendly, polite & cheerful when talking with people hoping I am helping to cheer up their day and this helps me feel that I am spreading happiness and who knows perhaps that cheery atmosphere will bounce onwards person to person across the world and maybe sometime find it’s way back to me again C1

I am happy to read this inspiring message.
Our collective efforts will surely impact positively the world.
Thank you
Peace

Hello friend @oadisim and other fellow Steemians. Good deeds speak for themselves. We must put values into practice on a daily basis. They make us better people every day. To the extent that we provide support, security, joy and optimism, to that same extent we will receive peace and joy to our hearts. Friends, I wish you all Peace and Good. C1
