Standard vs Sint-Truiden
Standard has not been convincing despite the 0-3 away win last weekend against Lokeren. Striker Sa is not in top form yet and Carcela might not be allowed to play (they will know 1 hour before the match). They were quite patient and did not take unneeded risks in the match against Lokeren. At home they tend to be stronger though. Stvv has showed to have a solid defense and played more attacking last week which I don't expect them to do away against Standard. Likely this match will be played with the home team taking initiative without overly taking risks while the visitors lure on the counter. I took small pre-game positions on the Under 3 @ 1.75 and the 1H Under 1.25 @ 1.78. I will see if key player Carcela is allowed to play and how this match plays out live. Standard only were able to win 5 of the last home matches against Stvv.
Antwerp vs Cercle Brugge
Both are revelation teams so far this season and are teams that tend to shine on the counter. This setup often brings matches with few goals. On top they have both not been free scoring teams while at the same time they did manage to keep things tight in defense. The odds on the over were too high for me along with the handicap on the visitors. I took some pre-game positions on Cercle Brugge +1 @ 1.80 | Antwerp Team Total under 1.75 @ 1.884 I planned to take some extra on the 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.03 also taking that at Nitrogen in BTC but the odds dropped overnight so i will just leave it with what I have already.
Moeskroen vs Eupen
This match is the battle of the bottom teams. Often this turns out in a poor quality 1st half where the fear to lose is bigger than the will to win. With Eupen getting 16 goals against in 4 matches despite some intentions to play defense I could not resist taking the minimum bet on the Over 3.5 @ 3.00 lose a little win a lot bet on the The home team +0 @ 1.90 looked overpriced but has even gone up to 2.11 overnight. Very strong market movement on Eupen which I am not getting myself involved in pre game. These late moves on Eupen happened a lot previous seasons and were not always justified.
Charleroi vs Kortrijk
Charleroi contrary to last season have gotten less than they deserved with 3 points on 12. They lost Striker Rezai to Club Brugge but should still have enough quality in the team. Kortrijk had a horrible start of the season where they were not ready yet but have gotten better since. I'm waiting for them to get underrated to start betting them, but I'm not sure this match is to good spot to do so though. I can see the odds on the over go up rapidly at the start of the match which might get me in a spot to take some on that when the line hits over 2.
Late info might change my view on what is written in these previews.
