Bitcoin Production Will Drop By Half In July. How Will That Affect The Price?

One of the most fascinating aspects of the Bitcoin narrative is the trajectory of its price.

Since its birth seven years ago, this abstract currency that only exists as computer code and/or in a small but rabid collective conscious has gone from completely worthless to almost $450 for a single Bitcoin.

Soon, it will reach a milestone that could boost the price even further — what is known in the Bitcoin community as a halving event.

It should eventually factor into a higher price, maybe already has. Personally I think it could reach $700 by the end of the summer as long as nothing too dramatic happens. And who knows... the world economy is pretty tipsy right now.

I agree. It is going to only go up. people who hold bitcoin from the very beginning are going to be very happy...

heh looks like you were right :)
