A Peek Inside My CryptoAsset Portfolio: STEEM, BTC, ETH, PPY, HAIRSHARE And More!

in beyondbitcoin •  7 years ago

Some wild purchases, strategic repositioning and long-term planning... the world of Cryptoassets is never boring.

Here is my cryptocurrency portfolio as of the morning of September 4th. Any advice, critiques, questions or comments are certainly welcome - always willing to listen to new ideas.

STEEM

I'm now at just over 10.2k Steem Power - up nearly 400 over the last two weeks - spread over the @nepd and @hairshares accounts. I'm aggressively powering up and trying to add delegated SP to reward those participating in the HAIRSHARES project and those trading their tokens for votes from the @nepd/@hairshares account.

I currently have 280 STEEM saved up to lease SP once the HAIRSHARE token becomes automated. Take that as a hint that these tokens are a big-time bargain right now.

OBITS

OBITS (revenue-sharing token from Open Ledger) now make up a large portion of my portfolio, as I was able to pick up a large chunk at about 5 BTS a piece. Buybacks and dividends are awesome, but with OCASH and some ITO's looming, these tokens will become even hotter.

I'm a bit short of 1000 OBITS right now, but will continue to add to my position on dips.

BITSHARES

Bitshares are still at a great value. I used quite a bit of mine to buyback HAIRSHARE tokens and purchase OBITS, but I'll be adding to my position as the month progresses.

BITCOIN

I own about .25 BTC at this point, but the BTC/BCH controversy is keeping me from buying more at this point. A long protracted mining war doesn't seem fun for consumers.

VIVA / TQS

I own a few VIVA Crowns and six TQS. The TQS give dividends based on fees from the @tradeqwik exchange. It is quite fun, as every Monday morning I get the equivalent of a rainbow faucet of many popular cryptocurrencies fall into my account.

ETH

I'm not a big fan of Ethereum, but I was able to pick up about .7 ETH at a good deal on the Tradeqwik exchange. I'll hold it for the short-term.

EOS

I sold my position in DENT and was able to snag a few EOS tokens. I cant wait for the EOS token to gain @bitshares support.

PEERPLAYS

Now that PPY/OPEN.PPY is available on Open Ledger, I've been able to add to my position. I'm still well short of my 100 PPY goal, but I'm inching closer. With the EIGHT dapp releasing this month, I'm bullish in the near-term and long-term for PPY.

ZAPPL

I own just over 50 @zappl now and would like to add to my position before they launch. Their technological sneak peeks have whetted my appetite and I can't wait for the Beta coming this month.

Bitshares UIA

I own small positions in INSPIRATION, WHALESHARE, BEYONDBIT, LUCRA and SMOKE. I own 88k HAIRSHARE tokens which are distributed to donors and helpers of the @hairshares community.

Liquidated Positions

I reluctantly sold my VIRGROW and Gridcoin position due to low BTS holdings, but will repurchase once I have my asset allocation more in line.

Hello BeyondBitcoin,
Thanks for sharing your portfolio! It's always interesting to see what other people are doing. I follow a passive indexing strategy based on volume. Muy buen post, me parece muy bien la descripción, yo también he estado averiguando sobre esta criptomoneda para una futura inversión

Saludos :)

Seem like we like about the same thing. I have OBITS and PPY, I like them for potential dividends and buyback. BTS mostly for buying on OpenLedger. ZenCash as a potential upcommer.
