Cryptocurrency’s ~14 billion dollar market cap is largely betting that one or more blockchain-based tokens become widely used as “money.” But given crypto’s current usability, that’s not likely to happen. Amanda B. Johnson discusses why the likes of Bitcoin and others are likely currently in a bubble, and why Dash Evolution may well save cryptocurrency. - Read article

lacking economics? Y'all motherfuckers need some UX designers. I have never seen anything so dominated by programmers with so little consideration to human's experience since Google made Google +
Yeah sure, all the math lines up correctly but wtf is going on half the time.
edit: Side note, I have a theory that Amanda is an Android. Not like in a bad way. But she kind of has this sense like she is a super futuristic super advanced AI with a realistic body.

As much as I do like Dash, the fact that every time I question them on anything it never gets a response is pretty telling. I liked her more before selling her soul to Dash. If we want crypto to succeed, we must brutally analyze everything and always critique and improve. Even Bitcoin still has major flaws, and depending on development choices can easily fall from grace. Personally I think many coins, Factom and Dash included, are actually deep state projects' attempts to overthrow Bitcoin. My biggest concern with Dash is that you could easily hijack the chain. Any BTC whale could do it alone with just Nicehash and I know they have done so previously. I was PPS mining at 250GH/S on a cheap rental the last time the chain got split into several for about 5 hours. I actually contacted my pool and returned the profit after recouping rental fees because I didn't want to bankrupt the pool. Hopefully Dash gets more profitable to mine or switches algos to become more resistant. (Not trolling about returning it either. I've also returned 200 xmr to Dwarfpool over their own error in the past. Too many greedy crypto fuckheads out there willing to fuck over anyone for a few bucks.)
