This video is a special video i’ve been waiting to do for a while as I want to share some great ideas and practical tips with you from a brilliant social media leader. Jerry Banfield is a man who knows about leveraging social media to get the maximum for it. This is another video in our “Steemit Success Series” where I talk with influential and successful people using the platform Steemit to get insights that can help you.

He has over 220,000 subscribers on YouTube. He has leveraged that audience into building his Steemit platform to become one of the top users of Steemit. He is knows in the Steemit community as both a whale (person with tremendous influence and knowledge of Steemit) and a Witness. This is a person who watches what is happening with Steemit using advanced, dedicated hardware and software to make sure the platform is functioning just right.

In this video interview Jerry and I go into nitty-gritty detail to show you what you can do to amplify your presence and your benefits from using Steemit. We talk about how you can achieve what you want. We also reveal some of the painful times on Steemit when we don’t get what we thought we could. If you’ve even had a post not earn as much as you thought it should, this is the video for you!

We also share some wise advice from people like Zig Ziglar, Warren Buffett, and fellow Steemit writer and producer @exyle, Mark from The Netherlands. You’ll want to hear what they have said that can help you in your own journey creating content and staying with it for the long-term.

Personally, this is a video I’m very proud of and am delighted to be able to share it with you. Thank you for taking your time and effort to watch this. I recommend taking a lot of notes on this. You’ll probably find yourself wanting to pause the playback and write down what was said.

You’ll also want to write down ideas that you get from this that will apply to your specific situation. I find that often when I’m reading a great book, or watching a profoundly good video, that I get ideas on unrelated, but important subjects. Give yourself permission to pause and write down those ideas that come to you. Capture them and then take action.

I look forward to getting your comments. If you feel this has helped you, please leave an upvote on this. I want to make sure that you are getting great value from these videos. Thank you for joining me and I look forward to hearing from you.

All the best to you,

Terry

This was cool - an interview with 2 monsters of the Steemit community!

"Monsters?" Oh my goodness! I'm going to take that as a Boston-New York good thing! :-) Hey, thank you Mikey for your kindness. Always nice to hear from you, sir!

Lol - yes that was a compliment! I look forward toward all of the content you create regarding the world of Steemit.

You've been most helpful for me and countless I others.

Happy holidays!

Thank you, sir, and a great big Happy Holidays to you as well. I love this time of year to kick back, catch our breath and think about what has happened this year and look into next year. Steemit is a great part of this year and I believe will be even bigger next year. Nice to have you with us, Mikey.

Any chance you'll be posting your videos to d.tube?

You betcha! In fact, this one is in the process as I type this of being loaded. Waiting for it to be there so keep your browser ready! Thank you for stopping by @torquewrench1969.

WONDERFUL!

As always, another great interview!

Thank you for sharing this content on Steemit @terrybrock.

This is the man, the myth the reason I am on this platform!!

Thanks for the post @terrybrock, really helped me a lot, I think it is important that down-votes should include a reason, so that the downvoted person knows what was done wrong... and I think down-votes should be - "downvote able" then if alot of individuals do not agree with a certain downvote it can be removed or withdrawn... let me know what you think

"Willing to fail" - Epitomizes the whole story. What a great video to watch! Thanks!

Thank you very much, this is great.

Thank you, domingo, @realurbanartist. You are most kind and I'm glad to help where I can.

The dip is real! And it's an interesting point how people leaving can be a good thing. It's better for the community that people who stick around are in it for the long haul.

Yes, that is true. What Jerry said about that makes a lot of sense. I learn SO much hanging around really smart people and listening. Thank you for your comments, Mikey!
