In God's providence there is implicit a law of balance, that's why in the bible it says: "But where sin increased, grace increased all the more", Romans 5:20

Grace is every act of God by which he grants us his divine qualities, his perfections: his mercy, his piety, his perseverance.
According to the teachings of Jesus, the kingdom of God is the empire, dominion, government of divine perfections: "Be perfect as you heavenly Father is perfect", Matthew 5:48; "Be merciful as your Father is merciful" Luke 6:36; "Be holy because I am holy" 1 Peter 1:16.
Evil according to this idea exists because it is a form of deprivation: "we say evil to the man deprived of virtue". Every being tends to his own good or perfection, explains Tomas Aquinas.
God's creation tends to perfection in its own development, we cannot speak of a natural or ontological evil, evil is not a nature. There is in God's creation a certain degree of destructiveness to maintain the harmony of the universe, as for example the earthquakes.
God's grace is a help that we receive freely and that helps us reach our nature, the gifts are free, but to receive them we have to want to live them. The good is expansive, progressive: "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms" 1 Peter 4:10.
The sin is a form of error and his teaching "heresy". Paul reminds us that although the law is made for sinners and is not enough to achieve true spiritual goods, God's grace abounds and fulfills the law: "love is the fulfillment of the law" Romans 13:10.
This is why Jesus as a model of man guides us on the path to eternal life, that is, contemplative life and happiness of heart. God calls us to live ethically, to live the spiritual gifts inherited, overcoming the law of Moses and to expand the good (righteousness, Matthew 7:12) to our neighbor.
