The end of Jezebel in the Bible: Have you come in peace, you Zimri, you murderer of your master? 2 Kings 9:31

The Second Book of Kings in the Bible describes the end of Jezebel, the wife of Ahab, king of Israel. The prophet Elisha had received a prophecy from God and sent another prophet to anoint Jehu as king of Israel in Ramoth Gilead. In this way, Jehu began to plot against Jehoram, king of Israel, and Ahaziah, king of Judah.
Jehu left with his men towards Izreel, where Joram and Ahaziah were, there he surprised these kings by killing them both.
After this the Bible tells us that it was up to Jezebel, Joram's mother, to confront Jehu, this is how the Bible tells us about the death of Jezebel:
"Then Jehu went to Jezreel. When Jezebel heard about it, she put on eye makeup, arranged her hair and looked out of a window. As Jehu entered the gate, she asked, ´Have you come in peace, you Zimri, you murderer of your master?´
He looked up at the window and called out, ´Who is on my side? Who? Two or three eunuchs looked down at him. ´Throw her down!´ Jehu said. So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered the wall and the horses as they trampled her underfoot" 2 Kings 9:30-33.
Jezebel was an evil queen, worshiper of Baal, and practitioner of witchcraft, all things prohibited by the law of the Lord. In Jezebel, the wife of King Ahab, a law of the Lord was fulfilled; Jezebel as she lived, so she died, and this law taught by the prophets is of effective fulfillment: "For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind." Hosea 8:7. The law of sowing and reaping is a universal spiritual law of balance, learning, and retribution.
Jezebel never repented of her sins and paid for all of them, fulfilling a prophecy with her death: "On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs will devour Jezebel's flesh. Jezebel's body will be like dung on the ground in the plot at Jezreel, so that no one will be able to say, ´This is Jezebel´" 2 Kings 9:36-37.
