The wise king in the Bible: Solomon reigned during an era of peace, for God brought rest to all his borders. Ben Sira 47:13

The teacher of wisdom Ben Sira wrote about King Solomon in the Bible, citing him among the most outstanding and illustrious people in the history of the nation of Israel. Solomon was essentially a wise king and the best example of what the personification of wisdom among men means. And the First Book of Kings tells us something very interesting about this mysterious ruler: "During Solomon's lifetime Judah and Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, lived in safety, everyone under their own vine and under their own fig tree" 1 King 4:25. With Solomon there was a time of peace, happiness, joy, and prosperity like never before in the Kingdom of Israel, and this is so because the love of the wise is not the self-love but the love projected to the whole creation of God, also called in greek language Agape.
Salomon was in the name of God an architect of the social peace and all the blessings associated with it, Salomon was the opposite of a tyrant, like Nebuchadnezzar or Sennaquerib, who made war and terror their way of governing.
In this way, Ben Sira began to describe the task carried out by this famous wise man:
"Because of his merits he had a successor
a wise son, who lived in security:
SOLOMON reigned during an era of peace,
for God brought rest to all his borders.
He built a house to the name of God,
and established a lasting sanctuary" Ben Sira 47:12-13.
And Solomon not only edified, building the first temple in Jerusalem, but he also established principles of justice, good customs, and educated the common and simple people with his wisdom, and this is how Ben Sira related this fact:
"Your understanding covered the whole earth,
and, like a sea, filled it with knowledge.
Your fame reached distant coasts,
and you were beloved for your peaceful reign.
With song and proverb and riddle,
and with your answers, you astounded the nations" Ben Sira 47:15-17.
With this Ben Sira left a very clear teaching, the government of a wise man is the government of God on earth.
