God's word tells us:
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

We can see that the heart is linked to the mind and thoughts, there are three fundamental aspects that I would like to emphasize and they are:
The Heart: It is very associated with feelings, the heart is a vital organ of the human being, if the heart stops beating, the person dies. Likewise, it is in the spiritual part, of the human being, if our heart is full, of the works of the flesh, we die spiritually, and we could not inherit eternal life. What are these works of the flesh? The word of God teaches us in the book of Galatians 5: 19-21:And manifest are the works of the flesh, which are: adultery, fornication, filth, lust, idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, lawsuits, jealousy, anger, strife , dissensions, heresies, envies, homicides, drunkenness, orgies, and the like; about which I admonish you, as I have told you before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
The Mind: Someone once said that we cannot prevent birds from flying above our heads (minds) but we can prevent them from nesting in it. The word of God speaks to us of renewing the mind every day with the word of our God: Ephesians 4:23: So make room for the spiritual renewal of the mind. How can we prevent our minds from getting dirty and filled with contamination? Reading the word of God, Our Lord Jesus Christ said: Father sanctify them with your truth, your word is truth. When we fill our hearts and minds with the word of God, we can discern if our thoughts are aligned with his word and holy will or if we are against it.
The Thoughts: The word of God is very clear regarding the thoughts, Because what is your thought in your heart, such is it. Eat and drink, he will tell you; But his heart is not with you. Proverbs 23: 7
In the first part of this verse, we see a truth revealed to our lives, just as our thoughts are, so we will act. So it is essential to think in the right way, and the word of God shows us how our thoughts should be: Otherwise, brothers, everything that is true, everything honest, everything just, everything pure, everything kind , everything that is of good name; if there is any virtue, if something worthy of praise, think of this. Philippians 4: 8 Be careful how you think; Your life is made up of your thoughts.
Remember, the enemy of our souls will seek all possible ways to destroy us and that is why he wants to undermine our lives with the filth of the world to finish us off.
The eye is the light of the body. If your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. Matthew 6:22 (NLV)
If your eye (if what you see) is good (it is according to the will of God) your whole body, (all your heart, your mind and your thoughts) will be full of light.
Watch what you see, do not pretend to want to live in holiness and be watching horrors on your TV or computer. For what man will sow, he will reap, we cannot plant apples and harvest pears, we cannot see bad things and hear and participate in bad conversations and think that we will harvest something different. God's word tells us:
Therefore, if your right eye gives you the opportunity to fall, take it out and throw it out of you; It is better for you if one of your members is lost, and not that your whole body is thrown into hell. Matthew 5:29 What our beloved Savior Jesus Christ refers to is that if what we are seeing is an occasion for us to fall, that we leave to see it, that we separate ourselves, that we move away, that is, that we cut off all relationships with sin, because if we do not cut roots with sin, sin being consummated will produce death.
