Steemit like life in general, is full of ups and downs. Many joined steemit with great illusions of quick and easy money. Many content creators on entering steemit looked at the work of some people earning 100s of dollars and laughed with superiority thinking that they would come in to steemit and play like this

But soon realized that it is not as easy as that. And many just quit. Discouragement is the number 1 cause of all the abandoned accounts we find all over steemit. The amazingly large numbers of abandoned accounts on steemit is the reason why I am writing this post today. So that with a simple biblical principle maybe I may help someone not to abandon their accounts on steemit.
Maybe you too had some high expectations concerning steemit which are still not being met.
Maybe sometimes you too have felt like leaving for good. Or maybe you have just notice that you are not just as excited about steemit as you use to be. Well, that is how it starts.
Why don't you spend as much time on steemit as you use to?
Are you aware enough to see that we are all going to face this battle sooner or later?
As for those of us that are holding on to steemit by a thread, i suggest we courage ourselves concerning steemit.
Encourage yourself in steemit. Don't wait for someone else to encourage you.

You may ask me, how do you encourage yourself when a whale, someone with a lot of steem power is on your case? They flag you at every turn. They put you on black lists for doing the very thing everyone is doing including themselves. That is a bit extreme, hahaha, but the majority may rather be saying..
How do you encourage yourself?
When you do your best week after week to create the best content for the steemit communities but your post only make a few dollars, if any.
You do your very best but nothing seems to work.
It begins to feel as if you are just wasting your time on steemit.
How can one encourage themselves through all these?

When it seems like all hope is lost then is the time when this principle seems to be even most powerful. Encourage yourself one more day at a time.
Just one more day at a time.
Tell yourself anything you need to tell yourself so that you can carry on one more day.
Let that day you quit never be today. Tell yourself I will do my best again today and see what tomorrow will be like.
Take stock of what ever little progress you may have had, progress is progress. Be grateful for that. In time everything that is small and progressing will eventually grow big.
