How not to preach from the Old Testament
Some persons who didn't get a space in the Epistles

No single believer in the Old Testament books had his sin or weakness spoken of in the epistles .
Not even solomons idolatry !
The writer of Hebrews puts it this way
Hebrews 9:15 KJV
[15] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
God kept the Promise He gave via Jeremiah
Jeremiah 31:34.......for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
So build your sermons concerning Old Testament characters on Gods promise ..
What ever is not remembered in the epistles can't be the subject of your sermon .
