The value of the bible is that it points to Jesus. He said, "You study the scriptures, believing that in them you have eternal life; now these same scriptures testify to me, and yet you refuse to come to me for life". John 5: 39-40 Jerusalem Bible. He spoke this to the Pharisees.
The kingdom of God is within. He said he would send the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth. The body is the temple of His Holy Spirit. Look within to commune with Jesus.
