“O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.”
Jeremiah 10:23 (NKJV)
• Where there is no clear direction, there cannot be progress.
- You must have direction for your life.
- Let God show you what to do as per His plans for your life (Proverbs 16:9).
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
• Some have resolved to do a number of things, but they have not sought the face of God on it.
“There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the LORD’S counsel–that will stand.”
Proverbs 19:21 (NKJV)

“The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.”
Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV)
• Progress is moving towards your destination.
- You can only claim you are making progress when you know your destination—and you are moving towards it.
- Your destination is where God wants you to be and what He wants you to do.
• The direction in question is not about your personal plans, that is, resolutions. It is not about your resolve, but God’s resolve (Proverbs 27:1).
- “Come now, you who say,
“Today or tomorrow, we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”. - Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
- Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.”
James 4:13,14,15 (NKJV)
- Therefore, endeavor to seek God’s face to know what He has in plan for you.
- Even if you have drawn your own plan; still, take it to God for an approval, to know if the plan you have drawn agrees with His.
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”
Proverbs 16:25 (NKJV)
“A man’s steps are of the LORD; How then can a man understand his own way?”
Proverbs 20:24 (NKJV)
• There shall be fulfilment of God’s promises in your life in Jesus name.
Peace!
