Run up and down the Slivnica Hill. This Saturday. For eight hours straight. Can you do it? Yes, you can!
There will be around 150 runners and walkers on Saturday early morning at the foot of the Slivnica hill to prove they can do it. Run and walk up, run down, then repeat. And repeat. And repeat. Until the bell tolls eight hours of running and walking.
Excellent, don't you think?
The participants will wear the bib numbers that are freshly printed and resting by my side. Check them out:
And this is Slivnica:
Nice, isn't it?
Details
Course length: 3.5 km
Height difference / ascent: 491 meters
Record: 10 ascents by Toni Vencelj in the year 2015 in slightly less that 8 hours. Great!
To Put It In Plain Words
10 ascents mean 10 times up and 9 times down. 19 times 3.5 kilometers is 66.5 kilometers with around 5 kilometers of uphill running and walking. Isn't that something?
