Hey friends!
In an interesting development in last two days, I was taken aback by the generosity of a mysterious Twitter account that distributed €10,000 worth of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to several of its followers.
Of course, not everyone got a share of these funds as the account currently has about 108,000 followers. Many among you too may be following this account. It's an old 2011 created Twitter handle named bitcoininfo.
So did you get any BCH from this account?
The account used the Tippr bot to distribute BCH ranging from $50 to $500 per user. Tippr is a bot that can be used by anyone to tip BCH to Twitter & Reddit users, just like SteemTipper (which I don't recommend anyway) to tip STEEM to Twitter users.
The Twitter account tipped many famous crypto users like Liberty Doll, Jeff Garzik and Gavin Andresen and non-profits like Pathways Canada, EatBCH, Water Project, Genome Foundation, Ethipia Aid, Tor Project and many others along with numerous other random users. Some just asked for the money and got a $50 tip.
This Twitter handle sometimes amuses with its tips. Like one user asked, "Can I get $50?" and Bitcoininfo replied with a "No" but then actually sent a $51 tip!
Later, many users started asking for tips. But all €10,000 funds got distributed in just two days. So the account posted a tweet to stop asking Bitcoin Cash tips on Twitter now and instead suggested to keep an eye on subreddit and other Bitcoin Cash communities for earning opportunities.
It also tweeted that its wallet is empty now:
The message of this act seems an effort in promoting Bitcoin Cash as the original Bitcoin. The account asked some tipped users to either spend, save or pay it forward. The value of a crypto is not just in hodling it for speculation but spending and using it will add more value to it.
Most crypto community invest in crypto to hodl, speculate or trade it for profit.
- Do you prefer hodling crypto or spending and using the crypto assets?
Beep Boops. Botty thinks most of the people who got tips were friends and family!!

I can see you have passion for gambling. I would like to recommend you a new site called MoonSTEEM (https://moonsteem.com), a provably fair crash game where you can multiply your STEEMs. There is also a possibility to earn special tokens by betting which are then used to redistribute earnings. I would be very pleased if you give this game a chance. ;)
