Michel Lotito
What do a bicycle, a TV set, a supermarket trolley, a coffin, a chandelier, and Cessna aircraft all have in common? This man has eaten them all!
Since he was nine, Michel Lotito has developed a strange appetite for the inedible. It is widely believed that his first “non-traditional meal”—for lack of a better term—was a drinking glass that shattered when he was young.
Amazingly, doctors could attest that Michel had incredibly strong stomach and intestines that can keep up with his strange appetite, which, in his lifetime, included seven TV sets, 18 bicycles, six chandeliers, a whole casket, a computer, and, yes, an entire Cessna aircraft--which, to be fair, took him two years to fully consume.
Michel passed away in 2007 at the age of 57, not of indigestion but of natural causes. Ironic, I know. But his legacy as “the man who ate the world” lives on.
