How to ride through a construction zone and why i began controlling the lane

This section on Viera Blvd is there it all began years ago. A City bus passed me with inches to spare. It was very dangerous and got my gears turning.

I found excellent resources online from cycling savvy and Iamtraffic and the rest is history. I learned the basics online and the legal justifications then took some courses with them in Orlando and never looked back.

Later I stumbled across all the external benefits, fiscally sound built environments and learned how motor vehicles do not pay for the roads, my kids are going to pay for them.

Check out this episode and stop being a curb hugger, take the lane!
