Bidbot problems, boomerang - and setting the record straight.

Credit where credit it is due.

Background = I placed a bid last week on boomerang to upvote one of my posts, the bid was $4 and it upvoted $2 I then went in search of the owner, and found him, I also complained (pain in the arse I know) to steembottracker. Yabapmatt was extremely helpful, even though I was being more than a little bit pushy, he contacted the owner and I was fully reimbursed, so I owe a thank you to you.
I also want to set the record straight that as I said "I did get reimbursed" as did every other person involved.

Pulling the trigger and manning up.

As I went around that night shouting the odds, I feel I have to balance the books, and say on this occasion I was right, though wrong, the way we go about things reflects who we are, and shouting at people is not my normal style, and reflected badly upon me, so for all those involved, my apologies.
I hope this puts the matter to bed, and clears both steembot tracker, and boomerang from my slandered list :-).

Not much of a quality post I know, though I needed to say it in public, so I have.

Have a superbly wonderful week.

We all end up on the tee-ter-totter sometimes, its when the other side suddenly jump off that cause us to hit the ground hard, and pissed off. Sometimes to balance the scales of justice we need to go off the deep end.

When you say - - - "I did get reimbursed" as did every other person involved. - - - more than you were taken advantage of by the bot? If so then your ranting helped others.

Not sure if it was more, though even getting the sbd back is better than not getting it, or only getting a small percentage back, then the owner of the bot not even acknowledging your messages, jerrybanfield springs to mind.

Deliberators verdict = sleep on it next time.

😂😂

Oh, I wish I could take this advice...I'm getting better with age!

Lol oh yes, the old foot in mouth is us sometimes, nobody is perfect, least of all me.

Bots shouldn't make that mistake though right... their one job is math. Also it reeks a bit of having to spend your personal time to just get even from a bank or other institutional mistake- which technically means a loss on your end. One of the most annoying imbalances in our current social system

I have little knowledge of the inside workings on them, so not really my place to comment, I agree though regarding societal imbalance.

please can you also upvote my post. Thanks

In short the answer is a big fat "no".

Ahhh,....a community of folks not afraid to admit their mistakes,...how refreshing is that?

How can we expect others to, if we do not ourselves? we set the standards now, end of story. :-)

Thank you for being a gentleman.
Most bots have a human eye behind them, in this case the guys running the bot have been sleeping when the problem occured. It happens. Now it depends on each if they do a return or not. Steembottracker is just a site which sometimes does not synchronise with the bot servers that send the information. This can happen when a Steem node is down, the bot info server is down and many other cases that can happen.

Thank you for the information, I hope this helps clear up questions other people have also, keep on engineering my friend, one day we may engineer the perfect world, in the mean time, we can have a few beers.
