We should be clear that the very concept of a Disinformation Governance Board should disqualify Biden from reelection. I would vote for a duck with brain damage over Biden.
There is no way that this is a good thing. It's either, what it most likely is, a blatant violation of the First Amendment or a bunch of money being thrown at something that will do nothing.
The Washington Post has a piece that chastises people like me for criticizing it without an understanding of what its function will actually be. No, nobody knows what its actual function will be. That's a problem. This stinks of "We have to pass it to find out what's in it." The fact that the function is so abstract tells us that my "Make 1984 Fiction Again" shirt is way too accurate.
Nina Jankowicz hasn't been quiet about her view that the First Amendment is something you "get around." She seems to think that people's speech should be legally confined to what makes her comfortable. She's the person in control of this board.
