Biden's promised war on oil is going about as well as our wars on drugs and poverty did. Whatever one hopes and dreams the future will look like, there is still obviously great demand for petroleum products. The wholesale economic transition it would take to eliminate this demand in the near future is fantastical in theory and would be catastrophic in reality.
