Contestants:
#1 Paul
Paul maintains his stranglehold on the house with virtually everyone except for Cody on his side. At some point surely the house guests are going to realize that he is playing all sides of the house? Should he win this season, he deserves A LOT of credit for such a masterful game.
#2 Alex
Alex had a strong week by eliminating her biggest enemy (Jess) and winning HoH. With a clear target in Cody, she doesn't even have to risk making a big play and creating enemies. Alex is potentially even in a better place than Paul as she has Jason as her clear #2 whereas Paul has strong connections with everyone but no clear ride or die.
#3 Matt
A largely uneventful week for Matt. There is no real reason for him to make any moves at this stage in the game as he is likely safe for the next 4-5 weeks without having to do anything.
#4 Jason
Jason jumps in front of Raven this week. Raven has been getting into more drama as of late and with Alex as HoH there is no chance Jason goes home.
#5 Christmas
Christmas had a strong week. She has acknowledged Paul as the puppet master and put in work on the puppeteer's favorite toy (Josh). By going directly to Josh and consulting with him regarding her temptation and encouraging him to not do everything Paul says, she may have solidified an ally. Could Christmas be the person to cause an uprising against Paul's regime?
#6 Raven
Raven is starting to become more polarizing for the house guests. Early in the season, she seemed like one of the most liked contestants but it seems some are starting to cool towards her. Additionally, going up on the block is never a good thing even if you are a pawn.
#7 Kevin
Kevin drops a spot this week. He tried to make his first real play of the game by brokering an alliance between his team and Cody. His team didn't want or agree to the alliance but Kevin tried to push it through regardless. This will make Kevin harder to trust in the future and shows his decision making may not be up to the caliber needed to win the game.
#8 Josh
Despite Josh not being HoH, he actually moves up a spot in the rankings. With his alliances, there is still no reason anyone would take him out (Other than they are just sick of him). With him gunning for Elena, he may be able to convince others to turn against her even if they are just doing it to throw him a bone.
#9 Elena
Elena was Josh's target last week until a major blow-up with Jessica refocused him on the brunette. Even if Elena remained his target, it is unlikely he could have persuaded others to also target her but even still, being public enemy #1 vs. someone in the most powerful alliance (Even if it is the weakest member) is not a good place to be.
#10 Mark
Mark has shown that he can win competitions which is good because he will need to win a lot of them in the near future to stick around. With no real alliance other than his connection with Elena, Mark will likely be shown the door in quick order.
#11 Cody
Cody remains at the bottom of the rankings. He is very likely to be the target this week with Alex as HoH. There is no reason for her to go after anyone else given her current position and the house consensus that Cody needs to go. Cody, however, is the best competitor in the house. With potentially 2 competitions to earn safety (Temptation and Veto), he has a good shot at sticking around for another week but sooner or later, he will lose the competitions and be sent home.
