What does the company / project do?
DxChain is developing a decentralized network of big data and machine learning.

The project is based on the premise that the data is valuable and the data creators should be able to appropriate their own data and benefit from it. The team aims to address the main big data problems, such as privacy, property and security, and at the same time support business intelligence and machine learning applications.

DxChain is based on an architecture of chains on chain that includes a master chain and two side chains. The structure was designed as such to solve multiple problems related to computer problems, storage and data privacy; this would otherwise be difficult to do simultaneously with a single chain.

Main features of the platform:
• Verification game: allows any computational task to be performed in a secure manner while minimizing the number of computations of required network nodes.
• Demonstrable data computation (PDC): allows the network to verify the accuracy of the calculation results. This is used by the computer chain to verify the authenticity of the results and reduce the prevalence of false information.
• Spacetime test (PoSt) and possession of demonstrable data (PDP): it is used as the consensual storage protocol. The data chain uses PoSt and PDP to verify the processes and avoid several types of attacks that can make the network fall.
• The data model allows to preserve privacy: it allows flexibility in the recovery of files in a more granular scale.

How advanced is the project?
DxChain Network is still in the process of working with the MVP currently set to launch sometime in July. According to the CTO, Wei Wang, a chain of tests could be launched in the coming months and its official network could be launched early next year.

Trustlook, which is the security firm based on artificial intelligence founded by one of the co-founders, will be the first application in DxChain.

What are the tokens used for and how can the value of the token be appreciated?
The DX token is the native protocol token of the network. The token will be initially issued as ERC-20 tokens after the crowdsale and will be migrated to the DxChain mainnet after its release. There are several uses for tokens:
• The DX tokens will serve as a secure and primary payment method among the participants in the network.
• Providers of computational and storage resources that are necessary to run various applications and transactions will be rewarded with DX tokens.
• Miners will be rewarded with DX tokens based on the usefulness of the work they provide passively.
DX tokens should appreciate their value as more users join and use the network. This is due to numerous factors, including the number and type of applications available on the platform, user experience, data storage capacity and processing speed, etc.
