Social Media Intimidates.

in bigwaves •  6 years ago

When it comes to activities on social medias,
many individuals get intimidates by what they see on peoples walls, accomplishments and influence of others, some been in the same age group with you or even younger and you get angry at your self, thinking your life is wasting. This even drives some people into doing things ordinarily they wouldn't have done, but just to meet up with the class of what they see their friends or age group doing online they do some unthinkable things that will end up hurting them.

Have you ever stopped and wonder if what they are posting with is actually theirs? The house they snap in did they build or but it, even if they actually own it, do you know that every man has his time zone?? As long as you're working geniunely, your time will come, you will tell your success story.

You may need to take a break of social media a little to fix up your mind, don't be in an unnecessary pressure because of what you see others have. Yes its good to have them but be mindful of what you do to have them.

There are times you may need to unfollow some friends you keep comparing yourself with to ease the comparison especially when its taking a toil on you. Its a normal thing to feel worthless or un valued, we are humans, its ok if its taking a toil on you, just do your best to keep your mind sane, don't keep dwelling on those thoughts so it doesn't drive you to do what you'll end up regreating.

Don't be deceived, many of them bank statements are not as flashy as their social media influence. Sometimes i wish social media never came up, but what ever have an advantage will definately have a disadvantage. Social media has helped to bring family and friends closer than we can imagine but at the same time it has been a cause of depression to some.

Yes we see people share their success but we rarely see the real story behind, many of them don't have it all figured out, you might actually be more comfortable than them. This 21st century we spend more time on our smart phones going through social media post and we forget to interact with the ones closest to you. It is very mandatory to keep your mind sane and protect it.

Falsehood lives on social media, not all you see is real, stay true to yourself, be your own competition, try to be better than your yesterday self, beat your own record and keep being the best version of yourself. You will get there in no time.
